Barcelona is preparing for a major spending spree in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a recent report detailing the club’s financial plans.
As revealed by Spanish newspaper El País, Barcelona officials have confirmed they plan to invest around €180 million this summer to bolster their squad.

The Catalan club’s primary target is Atlético Madrid star Julián Álvarez, and they are considering including Spanish forward Ferran Torres in the deal to reduce the overall cost.

The report indicates that Álvarez has informed Barcelona he will push to leave Atlético, while the Blaugrana believe Los Rojiblancos will demand between €120 million and €140 million to part ways with the Argentine striker.

Barcelona’s management is determined to reinforce their attack, especially with the expected departure of veteran Polish star Robert Lewandowski.
