Russian forward Denis Gurianov has signed a new three-year contract with Moscow’s CSKA hockey club, his agent Sergei Isakov confirmed to TASS. “Denis will remain with CSKA. The contract is for three years,” Isakov stated.
Gurianov returned to the KHL in 2024 after spending eight seasons in the NHL, initially signing a two-year deal with CSKA. In the current season, the 28-year-old forward recorded 22 points (15 goals, 7 assists) in 56 regular-season games and added seven points (6 goals, 1 assist) in ten playoff appearances.
During his NHL career, Gurianov played nearly 300 games for the Dallas Stars, Montreal Canadiens, Nashville Predators, and Philadelphia Flyers.
CSKA finished fourth in the Western Conference this season and advanced to the conference quarterfinals, where they lost to Omsk’s Avangard in five games.
