Stuttgart’s board member for sports affairs, Fabian Wohlgemuth, has confirmed that the club will begin discussions with striker Deniz Undav after the current season finishes.
“We are currently focused on achieving our goals at this stage of the campaign, with two crucial matches ahead,” Wohlgemuth said. “Positive discussions are underway with Undav and his representatives. I expect a final agreement to be reached after our last game of the season in Berlin.”
Undav, who scored in Stuttgart’s 3-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen, revealed that his contract talks with the club are progressing well. “Of course, both sides know what we have, and we’ll see what happens,” the forward added.
