On May 1, the 2025-2026 Hong Kong Jockey Club-supported Greater Bay Area Youth Tennis Training program launched at the Kecheng山庄 Tennis Court in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. Organized by the Guangdong Tennis Association and exclusively funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, this public welfare initiative aims to provide a professional and accessible platform for young tennis beginners in the Greater Bay Area.

The training, themed “Happy Tennis, Connect You and Me,” is free for children aged 6 to 9 with no prior experience. It adopts a gamified teaching approach to help kids learn skills and cultivate sportsmanship through fun activities.

Since 2019, the Guangdong Tennis Association and the Hong Kong Jockey Club have conducted over 70 training sessions, reaching nearly 5,000 children. The current session runs until May 4, concluding with a results showcase and certificate presentation.
